I wish subtitles were accurate

I have Procurando Nemo and A Era do Gelo 2 and I can read the subtitles fine but I don't understand the spoken - and the subtitles don't match it! Boy, it's be a lot easier to learn the sounds if I could read along. It's the same in any language; the world just has lazy subtitlers.
I love the IT Crowd now. I used to think it was cool but a lil dumb and now I can't get enough of it. The 1st season is infinitely better than the 2nd - I wish I'd watched it first. Tho the 3rd season hasn't come out yet - stoopid BBC and their 6 episode seasons. I can't wait.
I might have a job at the local supermarket here... nothing special, shelving and being a checkout chick. But it's not looking good, as the manager hasn't gotten back to me yet, and I have no idea when he will. *sigh* Guess I'll just keep looking. It's not even so much the money, as the experience, that I want.
I was gonna do this Learner's Driving thing here in 'Yogle, but the car broke before I got a chance, and, of course, being a volunteer joint, they haven't fixed the car yet. They said they were gonna get it done like two months ago. So, no car, that limits my job opportunities. No job, that limits my housing opportunities. No house, that limits my job opportunities. And of course, no job, no money, so I can't get driving lessons. On top of that, I can't study until I get a job so I can get a car or a house.
It's a fantastical cycle of suck.
I'm starting to save up some money, which'll allll get blown on clothes. But I really need them. And on less essential things, like scotch and jewellery.
So, what with no study, no job, no car, no internet, my social life is prettymuch non-existent. I went to Gilhooley's to see a couple people and that was the highlight of this term. Otherwise I mostly sit at home playing nerdy DOS games. *thwacks head on desk* Christ, I need to get out more.
It's my Birthday soonish! I wanna go see Ross Noble, if I can still get decent tickets. There were five seats right up the front last I checked. I should've grabbed them while they were there. I sat up the front last time and it was awesome, and I don't want to settle for the back the 2nd time round. Mostly coz I'm farking blind to anything more than six feet in front of my face.
This is getting exasperatingly long to read, so I'll go now.
